Good stuff, just a thought about shipping

Anyone else check out FoxAlien? I grabbed a Reizer Mega Laser Engraver a few weeks ago and it's been pretty solid. Everything works great, and I even managed to snag a 10% off welcome discount. My only super minor complaint is that the shipping took about 9 days, which felt a little long.

Decent WM3020, minor issue

I recently purchased the WM3020 CNC Router. The machine itself is quite solid for the price point, and the assembly instructions were clear enough. Shipping was surprisingly quick, arriving in about five days. My only minor gripe was that one of the limit switches felt a little loose on arrival, but it was an easy fix with a small screwdriver. The machine cuts well, and the online support documentation is fairly comprehensive. I also picked up the CNC Router Bit Set and those seem to be good quality too. Overall, it's a good value, especially for hobbyists getting into CNC. Would recommend, but suggest checking all connections during setup.

Masuter Pro is awesome!

Good laser, quick delivery

I bought the Reizer Laser Engraver a couple weeks ago. It got here pretty fast, like four days. It was easy to put together and worked right out of the box with LightBurn, which was nice. I've only done a few small things on wood so far, but it seems to do a good job. Happy with it.

Thinking about the 4040-XE, but I'm worried about getting spare parts down the line. Do they sell replacements for things like the spindle motor or control board?

They do, I've seen a bunch of parts listed on their site under accessories. Stuff like belts, motors, and even new control boards.

Yep, you can definitely get replacement parts. I had to order a new set of end mills, and saw a bunch of other stuff like power supplies and limit switches.

how easy are returns if the machine just isn't working out or I change my mind? Never bought a CNC before.

Returns were pretty straightforward for me when I got an accessory that didn't fit. You usually have about 30 days, just make sure to keep the original packaging.

I think you need to contact them within 30 days and it has to be in basically new condition. They'll give you instructions on how to send it back.

Are their machines mostly metal construction or a lot of plastic parts? Looking for something durable.

Most of the main frame components on the CNCs are aluminum, which is good. There are some plastic bits for covers or smaller parts, but the core structure is solid.

The bigger machines like the Vasto or Masuter Pro are mostly aluminum. Some of the smaller ones or entry-level models might have more plastic, but for structural stuff, it's usually metal.
